Rêves et Souvenirs, Allegory 2017-2018

This series of self-portraits was born two years after moving to France from the United States. I thought back about what my original statement says which is that my work is comprised of expressions of my life journey, mainly in a fantasy or fairytale-like way.

 

With the help of digital technology, I have been able to create tableaux comprised of fragments of dreams that I have remembered, mixed in with memories and “emotional memories” – memories that one feels but cannot see.
